Best of 2011 #Armchair BEA

For today's Armchair BEA, I'm supposed to tell my favorite books of 2011, so far.  This is a little difficult since I haven't been blogging long and hadn't concentrated on newly published books.  However, I have read some that I really enjoyed.

If you like European history, Freedom's Sword by JR Tomlin is a must read.  Tomlin really makes the historical figures come to life.

A good science fiction read is The Immortality Virus by Christine Amsden.

There are sooo many good books out there, it's hard to find the time to read them all, isn't it?  I can't wait to read everyone else's posts so I can make a list of must reads!

Again, leave your link so I can check out your blog as well!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I've heard good things about The Immortality Virus. I'll have to add it to my TBR. :) I'm a new blogger, too. Most of the stuff I've read so far this year has been out for a while.

  3. I've only read seven books published this year. In 2009 I decided to step away reviewing for publishers and publicists. I felt like I was losing my focus and drifting from my mission statement of sharing the joys of reading. Call it taking a librarian's approach to blogging. Come see what I mean.
